Recently, I went Curling with my class. It was a lot of fun because I already play Curling on my own time, and I have a curling broom and shoes. Curling is my favorite sport because you don't necessarily have to be athletic to play, and I'm not very strong or nimble. It is also a very polite game. I had a lot of fun playing the game with my friends because I got to find out how good they would be at the game, and it was also fun showing off my skills.
If you don't know what curling is, it is a game where two teams of four take turns sliding heavy rocks down a sheet of ice onto a target painted on the ice, and the team with the rock closest to the center wins that end. (An end is basically the curling equivalent of a period or an inning.) There is eight ends overall. In curling you can sweep the rock to make it go further down the ice, and it is a very interesting and strategic game.
